It takes a huge amount of base building & organizing to hold a small, politically meaningful rally. 50-100 people from across NYC standing outside city hall w/ signs is like the visible part of an iceberg: 90% of the hitting power and work is mostly unseen, below the waterline.

@NYCMayor If you really care more about New York citizens of all races than U do about the real estate interests that are pouring money into your re-election coffers, U can demonstrate it by enforcing #LocalLaw97, the sustainable buildings law passed in 2019, instead of dragging your feet.
