Jim Brown has a pretty solid argument as the greatest football player of all-time. Amazingly, he has even better claim on being the greatest lacrosse player of all-time. He was actually so fucking good at lacrosse they changed the rules of the game. That is some badassery.
@Super70sSports Those were actually his real hands. Hulk hands Brown. Legend.
@Super70sSports He said he would rather play lacrosse 6 days a week and play football the 7th day....or, something like that.
@Super70sSports He did throw his girlfriend off a balcony but…in fairness to Jim…he was high on PCP at the time.
A radio interview shortly after Jim Brown entered the NFL. He was asked about his college sports career. He never mentioned football. He spoke of his Love of Lacrosse and laughed hardily about Syracuse playing a bunch of Ivy League white guys and how coaches would hold him on the bus until last as the opposing team would look on. ( paraphrasing to be politically correct) : " Yeah coaches figured that when I came off the bus I was every rich white guy's worst nightmare a 6" 3" 235 lb ( N word) with a stick , made scoring a little easier".
@Super70sSports A Man among Boys in whatever sport he was playing
@Super70sSports Saw him play for Syracuse in fall of 1956. Simply incredible.
@Super70sSports @TSNDaveNaylor It’s funny but I noticed in many of our pictures family has of old CFL teams that date back to 20s 30s.. many are either holding lacrosse equipment or it’s in the picture. Iv seen multiple pictures like that.
@Super70sSports There's a great video of him winning a face off and taking the ball to the goal and scoring. It's incredible.
