#XMen97 this is sooo funny because there was discourse from the anti-woke crowd about how storm was going to be made into a man, then the show said here is her in the original costume magical girl pose and everything.
@SunTaurean Can we talk about her secondary power to create her own fashion?! She is manipulating matter itself!
@SunTaurean This was the first thing I screen shot from that scene like posing like a diva
@SunTaurean Even her edges grew back, what a true black girl magic moment🤷🏽♂️
@SunTaurean I did giggle at the pose and was about to joke on it but you may take the honor -- Congratulations dearie! She's back! Thats all that matters see you on comics in a few hours
@SunTaurean I find it interesting that many in that crowd have nothing to say about the show at all and had a lot to say when it appeared that the show was going to be bad.
@SunTaurean Why was they going to change her to a man?
@SunTaurean I remember this one guy who said “So what if they just make Storm a gay man? What then?” And I did a spit take at that but then I said “Are they making Storm a gay man? Or are you just exposing your fantasies?” I got no response from him so I guess I won
@SunTaurean Truthfully, her character was originally hypersexualixed and used to be a nudist. It was scaled down over the years because of the negative fetisishiszation that came along with it. But I think now, comics are reclaiming her agency over her body and acknowledging her beauty.
