With already 31K Palestinians killed and 1.7 million people displaced, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is already untenable. With famine imminent, our calling is clear: we must have an immediate & lasting ceasefire and allow aid in that actually meets the scale of the crisis.

@SummerForPA A bilateral ceasefire, right? A mutual one? That's lasting? So like, each nation recognizing the other's right to exist?
@Bram_R I'm not certain what this picture is about, but I've been very clear and consistent in my calls for a just and lasting PEACE. No one has called for a unilateral ceasefire. A ceasefire by its nature calls for all parties to cease fire to advance peace. Bilateral is superfluous
@SummerForPA Good to hear. Sometimes it sounds like the "ceasefire" lobby wants 🇮🇱to cease while 🇵🇸continues to employ their "absolute right to resist occupation" I want 🇮🇱to ceasefire but don't see how to ask that while Hamas insists they're an "entity" they're going to destroy one day. 1/2
@Bram_R And you know very well there is no "ceasefire lobby." Palestinians do not have anything nearing a "lobby" and nobody raising concerns about conditions facing Palestinians have anything resembling the institutional access or influence as the actual lobby in this situation.
@SummerForPA @Bram_R SURRENDER OF HAMAS is the only resolution.
@SummerForPA perhaps the wrong word. ceasefire movement, effort. It's leadership, grassroots & otherwise
@SummerForPA @Bram_R Pretty sure several anti Israel organizations just formed a PAC that is advocating for many things, including a ceasefire. I’d call that a ceasefire lobby.
