@FUTAlligator Genuinely owned every single version since 99. Yep that makes me old I know. Haven’t pre ordered and won’t be buying it. Not an ounce of appeal to me and no desire to play it.

@Futdonk It should be about football and enjoy it. It’s not anymore. It’s about flexing a card or squad. It’s abusing mechanics and meta at all cost to win. It’s full of people who don’t care about playing a football game and either want to open packs or misguided ideas of being a pro

@Futdonk Most of my timeline is full of FIFA / FC. I no longer play the game but can’t get away from people talking about it. The community is horribly toxic, wants less promos but then complains when there’s “nothing to log on for” when actually it’s a FOOTBALL game. 1/2

@WastefulBlimp Not buying as I’ve had enough of the same rhetoric for as many of the recent releases as I can remember. Trust has been broken (it took longer than it should have) and can’t be restored for me. I’ll look forward to GTA and enjoy not having a toxic and frustrating experience on FC

@iwatchbugs It is honestly the same cycle regurgitated time and time again. I have tended to enjoy the game when it is in early release, convince my mates that it’s worth buying and by the time they get round to it they say it’s hardly any different to before. Says it all really.

@Paquetesousa @Itshaber Exactly this unfortunately. I love football. Season ticket holder. Play football myself when I can around work but won’t play this anymore. That excitement has been on a reducing scale to the point that I was done with 26 after October. That says it all. Can’t wait for GTA.

@WhiteNoise1879 I’ve seen elsewhere this evening from a Spanish journalist (not sure on reliability) that Malaga have enquired and that he wants to stay in, or go to a league where Spanish is the spoken language. If true, that’s a blow to our hopes.

@WhiteNoise1879 Such a bizarre thing to do. Never understood why somebody would put time and effort into pretending to be someone else for the sole purpose of posting fake football stories. Must have a lot of time and not much to focus on.

@JasonTSco Is the concept not to build your ultimate team though? So why not do both? You can slow the power curve while still allowing the user to build. Simply reducing packs (won’t do due to revenue) and giving all bronze starter squads. Actually use the whole database, build up

@iwatchbugs The issue with stupid immature moves like this is that people, be it that they’re just immature adults themselves, or kids watch it and replicate it constantly. This drains any fun or non competitive aspect out of the game for regular people just trying to play for an hour or two

@AnthonyDaytv I’m definitely not. Owned every version since 99 too… I enjoyed not wasting time, effort and being miserable trying to play that mess after I gave up in October. Couldn’t pay me that ridiculous top tier price to make me play it, let alone me pay for the supposed “privilege”

@nocontextfm1 I’ve given up with it now. Owned every copy since 99 and last year was the final straw (should have been sooner) No game is perfect but this series has become almost as far from it as possible. “Early Bird” offers to get people to part with cash is as big a red flag as it gets

@Futdonk If the “Early Bird” attempts to have people part with cash asap isn’t a red flag for people, I don’t know what is.

@Futdonk Definitely not buying it, regardless of how they try to sell it. Sucked in against my better judgement last year and gave up playing by November. First since 99 I won’t have owned. No desire to sink time into that game anymore. Had a much more enjoyable year by not playing it.

@LFCJacobb I’ll not be buying this. I’ve owned and played every version since 99. Last few years have had a trend of stopping playing earlier and earlier. Haven’t missed it since stopping in October and no amount of advertising or false promises will lure me in to buying. Much happier.

@Carra23 Imagine that we had drawn 0-0 with Cape Verde, or 0-0 with Iran. Imagine we had drawn 1-1 with Egypt or we had drawn 1-1 with Congo. Imagine we just about squeezed past Ivory Coast 2-1 in stoppage time. Absolutely fed up with doom and gloom. That squad was fine against Croatia.
