I resisted all plugin deals. How many more EQs, compressors and synths can anyone need. The more choices I have the harder it seems to get anything done.
@SteveHelstrip I picked up Diva over the weekend. Playing around with it today I should be able to make some beautiful sounds.
@SteveHelstrip This is true. But they also sound SOOOO GOOOOOOD. (It's an illness. I admit it. 😕)
@SteveHelstrip @FisicalProject Wish I could say the same, however I can say that I resisted adding more sample packs this year 😇
@SteveHelstrip @FisicalProject Too bad mate. Should've gotten the Mercury Bundle by Waves. Who doesn't want 9000 new EQs to elevate your productions! Moar = Bettorrrr
@SteveHelstrip Prefer just having a few plugins that I know very well. Much faster workflow. The deals are tempting though!
@SteveHelstrip Exactly what @paulhartnoll858 has said in the past: "Limiting yourself to a small number of plugins produces creativity."
@SteveHelstrip To be honest Steve. I don't use many extra plugins. I basically use all the ones that come with the DAW with the exception of Fabfill. It's hard to find good help these days. Or, musicians for that matter. People just sample or use plugins to make ARPs.
@SteveHelstrip Same with music. I constantly buy new tunes before I give myself enough time to become familiar with the songs I already have. Therefore, I slowed down with the music shopping and spend more time familiarizing myself with tracks I want to mix with. Have a good evening!
@SteveHelstrip The Thrillseekers.. Jerome Isma-Ae.. Max Freegrant... Cool! I can mix again!
