I finally finished this project. Median US house prices by county, Q4 2023. Three things stand out to me: - The west desperately needs to build housing - Coastal California is insane - Florida and the TX Triangle aren't as cheap as they used to be - Nashville suburbs lol
The label on the scale say USD, it initially was 100-1,000 so I labeled it "thousands of USD" then changed it but forget to update the label. The top end of the scale is $1,000,000.
@StatisticUrban Be nie to know what exactly Jefferson County, Kentucky median is but that is still a nice map!
@StatisticUrban Wait you made this yourself? Nice! Howd you do it? Whered you get the data from and what software/program did you use?
@StatisticUrban Nice. As someone who used to live in the suburbs of Nashville, I don't get the current prices there. Also, I think the scale should be "USD" and not "Thousands of USD", assuming the bottom end is $100,000 and not $100,000,000.
@StatisticUrban The don’t desperately need to build housing, they desperately need to stop hedged funds from buying residential homes and driving up home costs. A significant portion of the single family home in the US is empty.
