I saw a claim: Messi has been in top 3 goal contributors 16 consecutive calendar years: 2007 to 2022. Truth?

Dropped Finallissima, because there was not equivalent for Pele (first such in 1985, Confederations Cup 1992). Paulista was not cup but as a second national competition sort of equivalent for Copa del Rey.

@ADiLLKq @MessiStats_ There is no such thing, "real assist". It's all about different criterias. For example Messi contributed in two goals against South Korea: 0-1 own goal youtu.be/ziMCBTpZSJE?t=… 1-3 rebound from post: youtu.be/ziMCBTpZSJE?t=… Assists? Yes. OPTA-assist? No.
