The gaming industry has an odd complex atm. They’re disregarding their own in place of a film industry that doesn’t really care about them. They’re like the more successful, little brother still seeking validation from the big brother who was cool in high school.
@rclark98 Agreed. The gaming industry has become a much better medium for storytelling than the film industry imo.
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Better, no, but different and yet to have its every possibilities explored, yes.
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 It really hasn't, maybe if you compare it to the MCU or something but film is much more than that.
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Even that is changing the woke have found their way in there to
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Disagree. You can make a good film with fantastic story with a much lower budget and less time than a game equivalent.
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 The gaming industry is definitely more original with ideas
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Not really. The average game is lesser than a movie’s story storywise. Unless the only movies you watch are franchise movies, games let you “interact” to make it feel good if yk what I mean
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Disagree bro, most game’s stories are afterthoughts. Very few games reach movie standards
@Stanimal032 @rclark98 Maybe for blockbusters, but movies are a much more mature medium than games are (in terms of technique)
