Yes. Each of these doctrines can be defended from scripture, and we shouldn't ignore them simply because they may feel unfair or make us uncomfortable. Scripture must be our standard.

The Christian is not wrong to take into account things such as race, IQ, culture, etc when considering marriage. Ultimately we make our choices based on the fundamentals of scripture, but we shouldn't ignore the fact that these other issues are part of reality.
