Starmer was quick to frame this as a far-right terror threat. An alleged threat to an Islamic event in Suffolk led to a major counter-terrorism operation and 13 arrests. He was straight out publicly pushing the story. Now police have admitted they have no evidence to charge anyone. Commander Helen Flanagan confirmed after “extensive enquiries” there is nothing to support any charges. This is becoming a pattern. Big arrests and big political statements about far-right threats, followed by nothing. It’s not about protecting the public it’s about pushing a narrative they want you to believe.
