This is my point exactly. Magic Kingdom should be treated as the "Disney's greatest hits" park. It's the tourist park. The one people come from all over the world to visit, looking for an authentic, once in a lifetime Disney experience. They want all the timeless classics.

@BrerOswald @SatisfactualSte There's a ton of other classic tier Disney attractions I would easily consider more dated looking than Splash did. No one said it looked dated until the closure was announced and they needed pull something out of their ass to justify it.

Disney is like a big greedy cunt dragon sitting on their pile of hoarded IPs they never use just so no one else can have them or do anything with them. Like I've said before, there needs to be a law put in place that forces companies to surrender the rights to dormant IPs.

@sketching204 I really miss the world the first movie set up, where the animals coexisted with humans. It was such a major plot point too, so when the sequels ditched humans entirely, it felt so weird. They spend an entire movie with human baby and they just never acknowledge it ever again.

I find it's especially noticable with stuff people don't like or care about, obviously to create the false illusion of "hype" that doesn't actually exist. It's extremely sad and pathetic when you think about it. Disney never used to have to resort to this.
