@SpillTheMemes I did read a few of his books along with Dean Koontz.
@SpillTheMemes The Stand at age 11 was probably too much.

@SpillTheMemes @LibertyCappy never read stephen king.
I'm with @AdesteAluve. I read way more Clarke, Asimov, Tolkein, Brooks, Anderson, Silverberg, Herbert, Le Guin, Niven, Zelazny, Pohl, Harrison, Ellison, Card, Haldeman, Simak, Leiber, Lewis, Pournelle, Norton, Farmer, Vance, Foster, Bear, Brin, Vinge, Moorcock, Cherryh, Bova, Howard, Anthony, Aldiss, Campbell, Varley, Wolfe, Saberhagen, Benford, Laumer, Weber, Drake, and on and on and on. Very little Stephen King, though. I distinctly remember reading Clifford D. Simak's Where the Evil Dwells. That one stuck with me for a while.
@SpillTheMemes We were to busy playing in the woods.
@SpillTheMemes It’s false and a psy-op. Gen X read a book 😂
