Some people, content creators, and big voices in the community are upset over this. Here's some further clarifications collected from Consultants themself, as well as Fog Whisperers. 1. This is not at ALL the same as Fog Whisperers, and really couldn't even be considered in the same category. There are some Fog Whisperers who are Consultants, but they focus on entirely different things. Fog Whisperers are AMBASSADORS of the game, they are representative of the community and aim to create curated content surrounding it. 2. Consultants are an onboarded, PAID job. They don't just get approached by BHVR every so often with a "You think this is good?" They work EVERY day, with at *least* 2 hours of worktime. 3. This is NOT a new program. New and old Consultants have been allowed to now go public about their position on the team. This has been around for a LONG while, but it is just now taking shape into new areas. 4. They are essentially QA Testers and test upcoming game DLC, features, balancing changes, and much more. They give feedback to Devs and work directly with them on all of their duties. 5. There is NO application process, you will most likely not be chosen by posting or tagging devs about your wins, personal perk/bug testing, game knowledge, or time spent on the game. These Consultants are now officially apart of the Dead by Daylight Dev Team and should be able to be proud of it and recognized for it without being crucified. It's also very important to understand that Consultants and Fog Whisperers are separate entities (pun intended) with separate responsibilities or images to uphold and there's no overlap besides certain Fog Whisperers also being onboarded.

BHVR is introducing "Dead by Daylight Consultants" They are trusted members of the community, handpicked by BHVR and given the task of playtesting upcoming content and giving opinions / feedback on live balance changes and new features. Currently, only one is known. @NotPandom

@KayToTheDash Sympathy, I ended up taking a break for about three months and trying to come back is weirdly so difficult. I miss streaming and love it but feel like any gap I left has been filled by others or people have moved on so I've nothing left to truly offer.
