Sometimes the darkness gets heavy. All the bad news can weigh you down. And then a wild bird lands on my hand (I'm on an island in the Great Barrier Reef) to remind me that the world is filled with beauty, awe and wonder. And that the good stuff outweighs the bad if you let it.

Be impressed by IMPACT, not money. I see all those people posting their Lambos. I don’t want to be judged by the number of dollars I made.  I want to be judged by the number of LIVES I MADE BETTER. Celebrate the change makers, not just people who made themselves some change.

Yes I'm up before the sun, already on a plane. I hear those motivational speakers telling you to get up at 4:30am every day and grind. But they are WRONG. You grind when YOU HAVE TO. Don't make it a habit. Find a way to get things done in LESS time so you can grind hard at life.

Your career accomplishments will define WHAT YOU DID. But your legacy will define WHO YOU ARE. And that's what matters most. My friend @AustinEkeler led the NFL in touchdowns, but will be known for the LIVES HE CHANGED. Your life should be bigger than just what you did at work

I'm in Japan thinking about the fact that nature is awesome and beautiful and inspiring. But so are people. It is literally the fact that we are NOT all the same that makes life interesting. Spend more time with people that don't look like you. Diversity is what makes you grow.

It's the ripple effect. I made a commitment to giving back by sharing everything I've ever learned with as many people as I can. Because every person deserves to live their best life. And the price tag for having a good life is a responsibility to help others get there too.
