@hopoogames I’m interested in character design and would love to hear how the team goes about developing new characters. Does it begin with a primary mechanic, visual design, lore snippet, ect? Do you try to appeal to particular player fictions? What does the process normally look like?

Daniel Mullins’ games often have a dark mystery feel to them and seem meta to their very core, so I’d be intrigued to hear about how that might have evolved between their past three games. Especially in how making and releasing games might have impacted this “meta”, so to speak.
