SoundNote 2.5 is out — fixes some bugs and looks properly modern on iOS 7.
@frick We’ve never had an iPhone version, unfortunately! Are you sure you have the right app?
@sflomenb It might help to disable it, in this case. I’ve found that it’s sometimes too aggressive at filtering out background voices.
@sflomenb Try playing with the “Use ambient noise reduction” option in System Preferences -> Sound -> Input.

@mikeseeh Might work! Copy from iTunes File Sharing, right click, "Open Package Contents", edit relevant m4a file, copy back to SoundNote.
