I just saw a poor old lady get forcibly arrested by police and Coles staff for shoplifting food. I told the police that I'll pay for her food and let her go and then I got threatened with being arrested for "obstructing police". Boycott Coles and Woolworths
When the police came to arrest her they ran like football players tackling her. JFC🤦♂️😒 and the Coles staff were acting like "the big Charlie" that they caught a poor old lady who is starving
I went back to Coles yesterday to complain about the staff and the police.......they didn't take any notice. From what they told me she was arrested and charged with a summary offence (unauthorised dealing with shop goods)
unpopular opinion: I honestly do not see shoplifting from big businesses like this at this moment as a crime, when they have done nothing but price increase at exaggerated prices. (morally never steal from a small self-employed or family business). what is criminal is making a big deal about it and causing the old lady more stress, situationally she is probably under economic pressure and adding to that (the likely outcome is more than likely a fine as a levy for victims service NSW, resulting in more financial stress). I get they are doing their job and everything but really, my take is there are prolific pedophiles in positions of power at every corner leave this woman alone and focus on what really matters (like child sex trafficking, child pornography, human trafficking, crimes where there are actual victims). did you really join the force to catch old hungry ladies? if so that's really NPC bs
@Sonny_1NC This is extremism @VictoriaPolice FFS leave the woman alone. Boycott Coles 😔
This lady also had a speech disability which makes it 1000000x worse that the police and Coles staff did this!
