It gets worse. What does the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism know about humanitarian law or Israel’s capacity to provide adequate assurances? Inputs from the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism and U.S. ambassador to…

SCOOP: I reviewed an internal State Dept memo, parts of which was classified, that included the most extensive and serious to date warnings to Secretary Blinken over Israel’s possible non-compliance with international humanitarian law. Here’s what I learned 1/X
Solidarity encampments have finally arrived in "Canada"! Respecting the French tradition of protesting, Montreal students are the first to take up the call. Head down to McGill University now to support their efforts! ✊
Standard operating procedure. All inflammatory acts are now in question. Too many instances of fabrication. This is systemic.

I have attended the White House Correspondents Dinner for the past two years. I decided not to attend today’s dinner (which, to be clear, is hosted by DC journalists not the White House) in solidarity with under-fire Palestinian journalists in Gaza who have called for a boycott.

This is a very important documentary to watch for everyone interested in a unique perspective of the atrocities of Nakba. It explores the massacre of Tantura which occurred 8 days after Israel was founded. All the accounts are from soldiers in the Alexandroni Brigade who…
@emilykschrader Why are you so racist against Mexican-Americans?
@emilykschrader I’ll leave this here as well for all the people preparing the classic “Arabs left by themselves, no one forced them, the leaders told them to leave, etc.” I’ve been down this road too many time.
Journalist Emily Schrader calls Mexican-American and Palestinian-American protestors “maggots”. This young activist was merely highlighting the need for protection from potential infiltrators. This is rhetoric is very concerning. #UCLA #Gaza #Israel
There’s a bipartisan effort in Congress to equate criticism of the secular state of Israel to violence toward Jewish people in America. The latter is illegal and the former is protected speech, but if a false equivalency is established, it will be forbidden to criticize Israel.
Ryan Garcia, first athlete to be donate $20 million to humanitarian aid in Gaza. Gives almost all of his money away. While other athletes are afraid to speak up for Gaza to protect their interests.
Here’s an interview with a Columbia protester named Ava where she talks about why she’s there, anti-Semitism, and the historical echoes of this movement.
Bad reporting like this convinced people that the Columbia protesters are anti-Semitic crazies. This person has nothing to do with Columbia, is a well-known agitator. And yet a journo snaps a pic outside the gates and uses it to smear the students inside x.com/jakesherman/st…

One thing I found interesting was that the protest organisers studied the Columbia archives to learn from the 1968 protest movement. They copied their tactics and later invited some 1968 vets to campus. Story on that here: independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
These aren't radicals. As someone told me the other day: "It's a bunch of nerds sitting on the ground praying, chanting and doing homework." They are still going to classes.
It's quite clear what happened: Just outside the university gates, a semi-regular crowd of quite unwell people who have nothing to do with the Columbia protest have gathered with the explicit aim of getting on TV. Press show up and film them, use the footage to smear the students
It's a multi-faith protest. Despite the claims that the protest is an anti-Semitic hell-hole, I met plenty of Jewish students taking part who completely rejected the notion.
