The National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center gives warnings and suggestions to areas that may face flooding and flash floods. These messages aim to help communities prepare and respond in a timely manner. #Awareness
Dear Citizens, pay attention ⚠️⚠️ Spring rains (Gu') have started and are expected to bring more water than usual, increasing the risk of flooding and landslides. Please exercise caution and remain vigilant.
The Somali Disaster Management Agency, in collaboration with @MohadmJubaland and the #Jubbaland Administration, has taken preventive measures to combat flooding in the #Jubba and #Dawo rivers. The @ChineseSomalia donated necessary equipment to aid in this effort. #Dolow #SoDMA

@SoDMA_Somalia hosted a meeting aimed to present the current status and preliminary findings on the Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) and to identify any challenges in the process. The meeting was attended by more than 12 federal ministries and over 40 international agencies.
UPDATE: Head of @SoDMA_Somalia, Mohamud Moalim, presided over a highly organized meeting which is part of the 14th session of the annual conference of ARC in Addis Ababa. Among the agendas discussed are food insecurity, promoting agricultural products, and climate change.
