A stroke is a life-threatening medical condition. The word FAST will help you recognise when a stroke is happening and what you need to do. Call 112 or 999 immediately. The sooner a person gets treatment for a stroke, the less damage is likely to happen.

Congratulations to Cork City Community First Responders!🥳 The Cork City CFR group of over 50 volunteers operate in Cork City since 2013 covering an area of 200 km2 and a population of over 250000 people living in the city. Over 2023 they responded to over 900 emergencies.

You should always call 999 or 112 in the case of an emergency, but if you urgently need to see a GP outside of their clinic hours, there are services available. Find out more about GP out of hours services in your area.

Delighted to attend the interagency voluntary service training excerise in Cork City this weekend. Organised by @CCFR2012 & @orderofmalta Carrigaline, with support from NAS, our team delivered workshops on a range of pre-hospital topics designed to support each clinical level.
