A sure sign of success is when you lay off all of your top-level employees. That the statement Great American Media released uses the word "synergies" three times is a parody of parody. 🔗 deadline.com/2024/01/great-…
Almost fell off my chair laughing at this whopper If, by "approaching 70 million viewers" you mean, 'Our highest-rated program in network history (CHRISTMAS AT THE DRIVE IN, 2022) had 482,000 and we've yet to come within 100k of that pathetic total since,' then sure, accurate.
What they're alluding to very much NOT "viewers," but "reach"—those with access to Great American Family in some form Even then they're fudging data and that so many people COULD watch Great American Family, but aren't, only makes miniscule ratings worse x.com/sleepykittypaw…

@SleepyKittyPaw Not just that the shows are old — Wagon Train & The Virginian in particular seem really off-brand.I imagine the typical GAF viewer to be female, interested in non-violent, people-centric stories about family, faith, (chaste) romance, etc.Not old westerns w/ horses & grizzled guys
@SleepyKittyPaw 70 million? was 80 million too unrealistic? 60 million too shabby?
