It's been a busy week re-connecting with the students (both new and returning)! We've done instrument presentations, paper orchestra and introduced mentorship between the students at Elwick!
It's been a fun last few Sistema days since our winter concert, having a fun party watching movies, making music and crafts, and playing games! Sistema Winnipeg wishes everyone a safe, cozy and restful winter break! ❄️❄️

Congrats to Winnipeg Youth Orchestras on their Fall Fantasia concert earlier this week! Performances were done by all ensembles, including the Youth Strings group with 12 (!!!) Sistema musicians! Was great to see folks from the Sistema community come out and show support! 👏👏

Last week, suddenly and tragically, we lost a very dear colleague. Stuart Bremner joined the WSO as Stage Supervisor in 2018. His kind disposition & willingness to help with projects of all types endeared him to us all. Our condolences go out to his partner, friends and family.
