Indie creators should not be used just to drive traffic to a comic platform. They deserve to be seen, too. If a platform welcomes indie comics but never gives them a real chance on the front page, it is fair to ask whether that platform is actually supporting them. Indie comics should not just fill a platform. They should be part of what the platform celebrates.

@Krevetka_yev Royal road might be good for my novel tho? Since my book has that genre anyways...

Tapas is shutting down in 2027. Any good platforms to move my novel there?!

@Krevetka_yev I mean i didn't even want to becone popular on Webnovel...the conic i'm working on is going to be mainstream nonetheless and it brings popularity to its novel as well but the other issues you just mentioned about webnovel made me stressed 😶

@Neyunse What about Webnovel? I know my comic is better off in Webtoons compared to other platforms despite some negative changes but at least is better than many other platforms but i'm not sure about whats the best for webnovels

@BBtBFWB As someone who has been an indie writer on Tapas, this was the worst news ever. 43 chapters of my novel goes to waste now i have to move it to another platform even though it was doing just good these past few days...

@AnimeTokki Great. My novel (soon to be comic) did not deserve such a scamming platform. Novel moves to Webnovel and Comic goes to webtoons soon. Thank you :)
