Numbers for most of the AFL listed players who are close to Selection. bear in mind there are almost no spots for anyone and they're all playing *core* roles which they wouldn't in the seniors. not saying anyone should come in but theres pressure for spots now more than ever.

you know what i think will worry teams about Essendon coming off that game? it took us about 8 minutes to kick 6 goals and then Collingwood a quarter and a half to claw back even. you can't burn us consistently the other way anymore and its getting harder and harder by the week.

Is it insane to anyone else that Ben Cousins was suspended by the AFL for 'bringing the game into disrepute' over personal drug use, but the league does nothing to guys that have been charged by police for DV/harassing women? Are our priorities not a little bit screwed up?

@SilentGhost263 That’s what VFL is for. It’s also what the trade system is for. Similar to what we did with BZT, trade out an asset in surplus for a need, if it comes for that.

@SilentGhost263 I don’t think Baldwin has the agility to play that role. He’s also still very much and unknown quantity and I don’t think he has positional flexibility that Brad Scott wants (as do I). He’s not going to play on a wing or through the midfield if required.

@SilentGhost263 Absolutely. Will look to make a move for a player like that at some point. However it works, could be FA/trade or even draft. Think there are ex all across the league for both sides. Think selling off right away has shown to not be the best route taken, though.

This is exactly it. Spurs will 100% check around. Does not mean they’ll make a move, nor do they have to. But folks who were convinced that the Spurs were set on standing by and closed off to adding an elite player were always delusional.
@Hoops_GE I think the spurs will check around on the value of some elite guards but I'm not expecting anything to actually happen if it does that's great but I'm just expecting them to draft Rob or Topic and have them sit behind tre until they're ready to take over at that point guard spot
