This week, I'll be looking at how texts of Islam, Christianity and Judaism share one thing in common.
They mention the companions of all three Prophets were traitors. Stay tuned.
This is a continuation of the last episode, where I looked at Ibn Taymiyya's deception with the Companions Paradox Argument.
Previous episode:

"The Christians & Jews say the companions of their Prophet was the best of their nation... But the Shia..."
I'm sure you've heard that one plenty.
Here's a new video on how it was popularised by Ibn Taymiyyah and on how deceptive it is:

@e_demja Yes, according to both Shia and ‘Sunni’ sources, he was aware—as were the companions, who became aware when the Prophet announced it after being informed by Gabriel.
While heartbreaking, this is my favourite comparison between Shia and Christian art.
Left: Christian art of John the Baptist's head served to Kind Herod.
Right: Shia art of Imam al-Husayn'sMy head served to Yazid b. Muawiyah.
"He is the master of martyrs, the master of the youth of Paradise, and resembles John the Baptist." - Imam al-Sadiq.
More comparisons:

Bribery, treachery, and allegiance to the great tyrants of Arabia—could some of the household-name ‘companions’ and highest-ranking hadith narrators in ‘Sunni’ Islam have knowingly betrayed, or even participated in the killing of Imam al-Husayn? Could they have committed the greatest crime in this nation and directly opposed the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family)?
The Companions KILLED Imam Hussain

Did Imam al-Husayn fail? Was his uprising a cause of corruption and turmoil?
This kind of opinion is held by 'Sunni' scholars such as Ibn Tamiyya, Ibn Khaldun, and others.
A short write-up countering this absurdity:
There are, unfortunately, many ‘scholars’ in Islam that oppose the Ahl al-Bayt. Their works are full of claims that Imam al-Husayn’s stand at Karbala was a mistake and led to no good—only corruption and turmoil.
Ibn Tamiyya is one such scholar who is notable for holding this view. Another example of this can be found in the works of Ibn Khaldun. He argues that the Imam miscalculated his ability to oust Yazid; and his failure to do so led to this supposed ‘corruption and turmoil’.
How terrible a claim this is about the blessed Imam, peace be upon him. This claim would necessitate the belief that Imam al-Husayn and his companions were insane, God forbid.
Did Imam al-Husayn and his companions believe they could topple Yazid and his army when they were 72 confronted by an army of thousands? Why did they not stand down? Why did they continue until death?
This demonstrates the goal was never to topple Yazid. The Imam knew exactly what he was doing, and exactly what he was walking into. Which was, walking straight into death—sacrificing himself entirely to leave a mark in history for the sake of the preservation of the pure religion of God.
If those who are aligned with the views of Ibn Tamiyya and Ibn Khaldun still doubt this framework. They can witness, for themselves, the physical manifestation of the legacy of Imam al-Husayn.
It is no coincidence that hundreds of millions of Shia, today, uphold the banner of the religion of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him). According to these very people, the only reason they retain access to the pure form of Islam is the sacrifice made at Karbala.
Imam al-Husayn failed? This is what I would call success.
@zanzi1897 He isn't walking through the deserts of Mars. I walked across Iraq for 3 days and saw cars, even used them for various purposes. I still walked the entire distance.
God bless our brother Abdullah al-Shatti as he begins his pilgrimage on foot from Kuwait to Karbala, after persecution by the Kuwaiti regime. A regime hell-bent on persecuting the Shia.

To Christians:
Imagine there was a 1400-year-long propaganda effort funded by all the riches of Arabia to defame Prophet Jesus.
Well, that is what happened to Prophet Muhammad.
I invite Christians to have a sincere look into the life of Imam al-Husayn, as well as Imam al-Hasan (brother), Lady Fatima (mother), and Imam Ali (father).
Only through them will you be able to 'reach' the true character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Good luck, and God bless.

History records monks finding the head of John the Baptist (Prophet Yahya), just like with the head of Imam al-Husayn.
Here's a comparison of artwork from Shia and Christians on these events.
"He is the master of martyrs, the master of the youth of Paradise, and resembles John the Baptist." - Imam al-Sadiq.
Peace be upon them all.
@PeacockClub786 No. I've had a brief look at the book, but it seems quite difficult to follow. If I'm not mistaken it's been compiled from his lectures, so that could be why.
Another look at Shia Islam in the Bible, coming soon.
Looking at parallels between Imam al-Husayn and the biblical narrative of John the Baptist (twelve major similarities).
I pray the Christian nation discovers its saviour; the one who resembled John.
Imam al-Sadiq: "he is the master of martyrs, the master of the people of Paradise, and resembles John the Baptist."
Peace be upon them all.
