I've been following the story of the Lake County race for Property Appraiser. My hope for the County is that all of our elections are open, honest and fair - all the candidates abide by Florida election laws, and all of our elected officials operate with the utmost integrity.

Who believes for a second they had a revelation and changed course after years of being arrogant and ignoring community?? They’re just stalling and deflecting because there’s an election 2 months away! Could have voted to refuse it outright rather than just stall #WeCanDoBetter

@johncutter @Bearlando Great victory for all of those folks who have championed reversing this poor decision. I have spoken with many of them over the last 4 days since entering the race. Wondering if the upcoming OPEN election had any impact? EVERYONE gets a say on August 18, 2020. #WeCanDoBetter
