After spending 10-15 lakhs on a BTech degree at a private college, only to receive a job offer with a salary less than the entire college fees, how do you feel? Do you now realise the importance of making informed decisions?
@Sheetal2205 It’s not just about the job which you get from college, there are lot of other factors attached like network, experience, learnings, etc.
@Sheetal2205 Nobody said you'd get the whole fee as payment in a year straight out of the college. I say, if you could get the tuition fees within four to five years, it's a good investment.
@Sheetal2205 I feel lucky that I was from the batch whose total fees of 4 years was approx 4L.
@Sheetal2205 I don't think 10-15 lakhs mein India mein kisi bhi semi decent college se bhi Engg hota hoga. Itna to schools mein lag raha hai.
@Sheetal2205 I did my BTech on scholarship in total around 1 lakh from a nearby local college. Do I supposed to tell my monthly in hand 6 digits salary?
@Sheetal2205 It generally starts like this in a job and then a parabolic curve upwards in earnings 💸
@Sheetal2205 Education is an important part of life & one should successfully complete at least a Bachelor’s degree. Many successful people like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Narendra Modi, Vladimir Putin, Mukesh Ambani, Michael Cannon-Brookes, Rishi Sunak, etc are educated.
@Sheetal2205 Sundar started his first job after college degree with $75K per year. Now he is making $200M per year being the CEO of Google Same college degree. the logic here is — You don’t measure your education by your first job CTC. Degree is for life. Our first CTC is just for rent
