BREAKING: PALESTINIAN FOREIGN MINISTER OFFICIAL STATEMENT “We denounce the United States’ position rejecting the draft resolution on Palestine’s membership We denounce Washington’s rejection of the draft resolution for Palestine’s membership in the United Nations Washington’s position rejecting our membership in the United Nations threatens its credibility Washington cannot continue to be a major player for peace if it uses the veto.”
@ShaykhSulaiman Why should the US have veto power in the first place?
Since roughly 1300 BC, the holy land has been the homeland of the Jews, who are more than any other its indigenous people, and who have maintained a continuous presence in the holy land for more than 3000 years. In the 5th century BC Herodotus identified the population of Palestine as circumcised - in other words, Israel, the land of the Jews. The concept of ‘Palestine’ (which has never been a nation) as a non-Jewish area was created by the Roman emperor Hadrian in about 135 AD, when he renamed the land of the Jews to ‘Palestine’ and scattered its Jewish residents in an effort to destroy the Jews and their history/ On 24 July 1922 the League of Nations, recognizing the Jew's historic connection to the land, approved the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jews, per the British Palestine Mandate, per the Balfour Declaration of 1917. In 1946 Jordan was carved out of the Mandate to create, fundamentally, a ‘Palestinian’ Arab state, leaving the rest for a Jewish homeland. In spite of this, the Arab nations refused to accept the presence of any Jewish state, even rejecting the UN’s 1947 partition plan that further reduced the size of a Jewish state while creating a second ‘Palestinian’ Arab state. Therefore in 1948 the 7 Arab League countries attacked Israel, and telling the Arabs within the boundaries of the Jewish state to leave, warning them to run for their lives (the Arab League expected a quick victory, with a goal to wipe out the Jews.) This second ‘Palestinian’ Arab State was to be about 4,500 square miles with a population of about 804,000 Arabs and about 10,000 Jews. The Jewish State was to be about 5,500 square miles, and a population of about 538,000 Jews and about 397,000 Arabs (the high living standards in Jewish cities and towns had seemingly attracted large Arab populations, ensuring that any partition would result in a Jewish state with a substantial Arab population.) Roughly 650,000 Arabs left the Jewish state. The majority of Arabs who left were not expelled, and 68% who left did so without seeing an Israeli soldier. Arabs who left owned about 18% of the land in the Jewish state. At the end of the war, about 160,000 Arabs remained in Israel (Arab citizens of Israel today enjoy full rights). In the Jewish communities, all the Jews were expelled from the area partitioned for an Arab state, and about 870,000 Mizrahi Jews were ultimately expelled from Arab and Muslim countries. The numbers of Jews expelled apparently exceeded the number of Arabs who left (most voluntarily), with the number of Jewish refugees going to Israel almost the same as the number of Arabs who left. The Jewish refugees were absorbed into Israel and other countries. A great number of the Arab refugees remained refugees, with Arab countries refusing to assimilate them, instead choosing to use them for political purposes and their ultimate goal of Israel’s destruction. To this day, Arab nations and terrorist organizations exploit these refugees and their descendants as tools (and human shields e.g Hamas) to facilitate Israel’s destruction. The Lord God rebirthed Israel in 1948 according to His promises (Deut 30:1-9 et al). And Jeremiah 31:35-37 declares that as long as there are sun, moon and stars, Israel will remain as a nation, with the Apostle Paul teaching in Romans 11 that Israel will turn to Messiah Jesus when the time of the Gentiles is complete. Messiah Jesus, the Son of God and eternal King of Israel, invites all to receive Him as Lord and Savior, to be set free from Satan’s dominion and join the kingdom of God: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already…” (John3:16-18)
@ShaykhSulaiman Since there is no country of Palestine, the US position is logical. Historically and Biblically, and as seemingly supported by the Quran, Palestine is a geographic designation for some of the land of Israel.
@ShaykhSulaiman How can you have a 2 state solution if no legal nation @pmofa
@ShaykhSulaiman We all saw that coming. America and Israel must be suspended from The @UN or there will be no more International Law, or any prospect of it. This Planet is far too small for this.
@ShaykhSulaiman We don’t care, we’re tired of hearing about it. We sent you billions and he squandered it. We don’t care anymore. The world has no more sympathy.
#Algeria 🇩🇿 drafted a resolution to the #Security_Council regarding granting #Palestine 🇵🇸 full membership in the #United_Nations 🇺🇳, and according to available information, 9-10 members supported and 3-4 others abstain. As a result of the lack of an overwhelming majority in support, #United_States 🇺🇲 will find itself able to "Use the veto under the pretext that there is no consensus"!!
@ShaykhSulaiman How can Palestine be in the UN when they are NOT even a recognized STATE cuz they keep refusing ALL the STATEHOOD offers?!
