Reggie Miller thinking it might be better to be up 3 points instead of up 4 points with 2.7 seconds left is painful to hear out loud on live TV 💀💀
@SharpFootball I was literally screaming that at the TV lol what a complete imbecile
@SharpFootball “Or do you make em both, be up 4, and it’s game over.” The “game over” part is what sold me on that plan.
@SharpFootball I really don't like Reggie Miller. His playing career is overrated and his broadcasting is atrocious at best.
@SharpFootball That was crazy. “Do u make the free throw?” To go up 4, YES!!
@SharpFootball Yeah, I'll cut Reggie some slack for thinking erroneously outloud and appreciate him giving me a teaching moment with my 12 year old on why intentionally missing the second free throw would be a terrible idea.
@SharpFootball Those things are literally never discussed. How does a hall of famer even think that?
@SharpFootball I think he might be thinking if he "missed" the first one, it is arguably better to purposely miss the second one, being up by 2... Since in 2.7 seconds to grab a rebound and get a good shot off is pretty much impossible...
