@rustyrockets Hey there! Wondering, if like me, you think bringing Jake Chansley on your podcast in long form would be awesome? It REALLY would. You guys would kill it and move the ball down the court for humanity. Here’s his profile @AmericaShaman and his interview to give you an idea.

@mommaleo @rustyrockets @AmericaShaman Russell is quoting from the bible and youre suggesting a Shaman?
Some aspects of Jesus’ life and teachings bear similarities to practices found in shamanic traditions. Here are a few examples: • Healing: Jesus is renowned for his ability to heal the sick. Similarly, shamans in various cultures are known for their healing abilities. • Visionary experiences: Jesus is said to have experienced visions and direct communication with God, which guided his teachings and actions. Shamans also often enter states of consciousness to gain insights, commune with spirits, and receive guidance. ‘ Spiritual mediation: Jesus served as a mediator between humanity and the divine. Shamans similarly act as intermediaries between the human and spirit worlds. • Exorcism: Jesus is depicted in the New Testament as casting out demons and evil spirits from individuals who were possessed. Shamans in various cultures also perform rituals to dispel negative energies or entities. In the Bible, there are verses that suggest that believers can perform miracles through faith and the power of God. • Mark 16:17-18 (NIV): “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” • Matthew 17:20 (NIV): “He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’” • John 14:12 (NIV): “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS THAT I HAVE BEEN DOING, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” So why wouldn’t a shaman be a man of God who is simply bringing the teachings of Jesus Christ to fruition?
