The ACC is still a good league, but it's top heavy. That's the issue when it comes to the number of bids. The league has performed VERY well in this tourney, and should be celebrated for that. But using tourney results to re-litigate the committee's work is folly.
@SethDavisHoops Not top heavy when NC State is in the Sweet 16 and BC blew the doors off of Clemson two weeks ago and they’re now in the Sweet 16! It’s a deep talented league my Bullis friend. #ACC @theACC
@SethDavisHoops How come we don’t hear this narrative with the SEC in football? Your takes are a joke Seth.
@SethDavisHoops Advanced metrics loved the ACC. It was bracketologists who didn’t
This year Big 12 was top heavy with Houston and Iowa state who lost to 9th place VaTech and Texas A&M pre conference.Baylor lost to Duke and Clemson. The Big 10 only has only 2 good teams too with the majority being slow and mediocre. The Mountain Least has 1 team and beat no one pre conference either.Your argument is weak and does not hold water.Just admit you and your fellow pundits can’t evaluate talent and got it wrong again #NoExcuses
@SethDavisHoops Who said they are top heavy? You? Take a look at the non-conf records…
@SethDavisHoops If the ACC is top heavy, then what are the rest of the leagues? Conferences with the most different teams to reach the Sweet Sixteen in the past five NCAA Tournaments: ACC: 9 Big-12: 7 Big East: 6 SEC: 6 PAC-12: 5 Big-10: 4
@SethDavisHoops Again, you could just say you were wrong.
@SethDavisHoops @tsnmike So when Pitt has beaten Duke, NC State(2x) and Virginia while finishing 4th in the conference for the season what’s your rationale again?
