Yesterday was my 30th birthday and it was truly a great day. I was able to drive myself, get my hair done and go out to dinner with my parents with minimal support. Today my body is paying for it but it’s a good reason to be exhausted.
I just drove for the first time in a year or possibly longer. This is such a win. I am one step closer to independence! #PSS #success #independence
Well today is the day for my surgery. No worries it is nothing major. The only thing I am a little nervous about is that this procedure will require a skin graft and I am very unfamiliar with those. It’s always a new adventure.
This week I watched the tv show “Carol’s Second Act”. I was shocked to see that the patient in the episode had #sepsis While the episode didn’t really talk about Sepsis it did touch on patient advocacy in hospitals and how the patient is what matters. #Awareness
