We have to pass voting rights, no matter what.
@SenatorWarnock Absolutely, Senator! Keep fighting the good fight! We are with you!! ❤️
@SenatorWarnock I am afraid that if we do infrastructure first we won’t have time for voting rights and voting rights are the most important legislation there is. If we put off voting rights not only does a disenfranchise voters it likely means we lose the midterms which can’t happen
@SenatorWarnock @smartdissent Yeah, we thought our senators were gonna treat #Fightfor15 that way.
@SenatorWarnock gotta get these honkies in line
@SenatorWarnock @cynthiakiker We must, but we won’t. Voting rights can’t be passed in the senate under budget reconciliation, and as long as the filibuster is in place no such legislation will pass; nor gun laws, nor LGBTQ rights, nor a rise in minimum wage, etc. The House already passed H1; S1 will not pass.
@SenatorWarnock Why is the party who demand voter ID, the same party who are against vaccine passports?
@SenatorWarnock As someone in the middle, you know you alienate us with “no matter what” right?
@SenatorWarnock Yes, the "Water Bottle" aspect of the bill is a Red Herring, a Distraction to make people focus on everything but the fact that Georgia Republicans can actually nullify an election. It means getting rid of the filibuster, because we cannot let that "Law" stand.
