When it comes to tax avoidance, Trump is not alone. Federal income taxes paid in 2020: Nike: $0 FedEx: $0 HP: $0 Salesforce: $0 Dish Network: $0 Charter Communications: $0 Duke Energy: $0 Yes. Dr. King was right. We have socialism for the rich, rugged capitalism for the rest.
@SenSanders You have been in Congress your whole life, this is your fault
@SenSanders What about yours? Do you claim all of your money laundering? Let’s see your taxes Bernie, you’ve become quit wealthy since being in politics.
@SenSanders You act like Trump and these companies are criminals for paying what the tax systems requires. Please give me a list of Independent & Democrat legislators that pay more taxes than they owe. You need to start being honest and quit twisting facts.
@SenSanders When a 60 yo engineer and his 61 yo teacher wife pay almost 10% of their total net worth in federal taxes in one year, and the richest people on the planet pay almost nothing, it is clear the system is broken. Is that what the founding fathers wanted? Please, just fix it.
@SenSanders But paid and responsible for billions of taxes via payroll tax, social security taxes, federal income taxes paid via employees as well as executives, school taxes, sales taxes, I would cont. but twitter has a character limit.
@SenSanders I worked for the IRS for 18 years and I can tell you that the top 3 per cent of wage earners pay 60 per cent of the federal taxes. The top 40 per cent of wage earners pay 95 per cent. On the other hand the bottom 40 per cent pay nothing. Therein lies the problem.
@SenSanders @Tech4Abolition Make it so they can’t circumvent the system. Close the loopholes!
@SenSanders @Xx_WiReD_xX Excuse me old man, Sir, you fall into the category of “the rich”. Stop gaslighting.
