Happening RIGHT NOW at the UN: #CSFCRPD, in advance of #COSP19 Today is the Civil Society Forum, when organizations of persons with disabilities from around the world come together to set a shared agenda. This is happening the day before COSP19 begins when governments take the floor. It is one of the world's largest gatherings on disability rights, as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities marks its 20th anniversary. #CRPD20 Inclusion Canada is here as part of Canada's civil society delegation, alongside Canadian Youth Delegate Ainsley Wood. Today our President, Moira Wilson, a parent of a person with an intellectual disability and one of the family leaders this movement is built on, will speak on creating a world free from exploitation, violence and abuse for all persons with disabilities. We will also host a side-event today on Turning Concluding Observations into Domestic Action. Why we show up? Canada signed a treaty promising equal rights for persons with disabilities. This week the world is examining whether Canada is keeping it's promises. We are led and governed by people with lived experience, including people with intellectual disabilities and family members. We are here to ensure the voices of people with intellectual disabilities—especially those with significant disabilities and those who communicate in different ways—are represented and heard. There is NO Universal Right to DEATH in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as NO safeguard is invaluable & can protect a person from Individuals or Governments Zealots The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed by 48 Nations on December 10, 1948 in order to protect Citizens of the World from the atrocities of World War I & II and in order to create a better world by supporting the dignity and worth of ALL human beings The decisions being made have nothing to do with what no / low / middle class people need to survive!! and everything to death & depopulation Since 1995 People with Disabilities social safety net programs & welfare have been drastically underfunded to the point Canada has a homeless crisis etc by design. Immigration is only part of the issues. The government is using the drug crisis to their favour as people don't want to help people in poverty because they have convinced citizens it's these peoples own fault, self inflicted and Doug Ford's favourite these people are just lazy and need to get a job. But addicts are just one group of people who need help and there are a lot of other reasons people who have jobs paid taxes that become disabled including late diagnosed genetic conditions, gun shots, domestic violence, WSIB claims & Insurance claims that have run out or deemed not needed by a company paid Dr whose job it is too push people off claims and more.. Yet despite countless protest petitions and more the government has blatantly turned their back on these individuals for one reason!!! Coercion!!! Coercion into Medical Assisted Suicided Death ! The World Economic Forum has openly called people who will no longer be needed in the workforce due to AI & Robots the Useless Class The Government is taking their time to fix all the Crisis we face because they have targeted select people for early deaths. People who are homeless clog health care & hospitals & die of exposure, drugs or coerced to MAID Healthcare is being privatized so only the rich can afford care as they are not part of the "useless class", people who are sick and don't get treatment die and Triage Protocols are used to determine who gets priority treatment over another person Since the mid90s Bankers Economist Insurance Companies & Government make decisions using the Cost of Disease Burden (to society) Metrics. When the COST of Disease Burden is tied to Healthcare Triage Protocols & Your finances only the richest will survive! In March 2025, UN conducted Canada's Convention for the Rights of People with Disabilities Implementation Reports 2 & 3 review. One of the many key concluding observations told Canada they must repeal Medical Assisted Suicided Death Track 2 Mental Health Only Criteria and NO ONE on the News or Politicians are talking about this HUGE win for the Disabilities Community!!! Unfortunately we are already dealing with a bunch of highly organised groups of people with unlimited resources who want the 4th industrial revolution regardless of what it means to others and to get them to change their minds and or slow down is a gigantic task we all must face.
