@drewlevin One pretty out there idea I had whilst reading this is (at apex tiers) give players these sliders themsleves. Choose roles (2-5 selected) and game quality/queue speed, allow for whatever dogshit they choose. Let this run for a few months, use that data as votes

Because aegis was too strong, people who would be Master/GM were able to abuse it and climb to higher MMR than you can now, with the same winrate, all things being equal, meaning the exclusive club has become more exclusive
