Visit Orlando spent $600k on a 30-second ad running on Disney+ that promotes … wait for it … Disney World. Can't Disney use its own money to promote its own park on its own network? Vegas' taxpayer-funded bureau pays for local services - like rail. orlandosentinel.com/2024/04/10/tay…
@Scott_Maxwell Why not tell people what the return on investment is. 600k is not a ton of money for this type of advertising how much did the advertising for Central Florida? With out that number its click bait to anger people.
@Scott_Maxwell Lol I wonder if this was part of the settlement?
@Scott_Maxwell They could but are saving it to give to GOP candidates. A simple win-win.
@Scott_Maxwell How long til Desantis makes an ad for Disney?
@Scott_Maxwell And Visit Orlando is funded in part by taxes on visitors who go to Disneyworld. So the visitors are paying. Big Surprise!
@Scott_Maxwell When's the opening date for Circus Circus Orlando ?
@Scott_Maxwell I’m not sure Visit Orlando does any real good for the whole of Orlando. They promote the theme parks, which the theme parks already do. What about promoting non-theme park experiences, restaurants, & businesses (other than outlets)? It’s time to repurpose their funding.
