💻 The CEO of @MowbrayEdTrust has warned parents across its seven schools she will lose teachers if they don't cut out 'personally abusive' and 'sometimes threatening' emails and social media posts schoolsweek.co.uk/stop-abusing-m…
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Absolutely. Teacher voice v weak in England, several unions (divide and rule) and abusive media and government too...... Teacher recruitment/retention will improve when these things improve...... it's not rocket science
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Better still: get rid of Trusts. Unions not encouraged in most and it’s not just parents who give school staff a hard time.
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Ban them from parents evening and ever stepping on school property. Call the police if they do. Always press charges. They should also be shamed in local or even national news papers.
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Love this - well done and it sends a good message to others.
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust My mum was a ‘turn-around’ Principal in NZ schools & said the most debilitating factor in a troubled school was the ‘car park assassins’. It was hard to build trust with stressed teachers while parents attacked individual teachers & the collective. Incredible from the head here!
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust I was lucky enough to work with Chris a while back - she is an amazing person; not surprised at all that she is standing up for her staff
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Good on her! Good leader .
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust I have, just this week asked our parents to be considerate and kind in their communication with the school and also be understanding and respectful if they message us out of hours. As shame we have to do this. #unreasaonable expectations..
@SchoolsWeek @MowbrayEdTrust Spot on. This is disgusting behaviour from parents.
