The Sabbath is part of the Ten Commandments, written by God’s own finger (Exodus 31:18), not the ceremonial laws written by Moses. 7. 👑 “The Sabbath no longer matters after the cross.” ❌ Not biblical. Jesus expected Sabbath observance decades after His resurrection (Matthew 24:20), and Isaiah says all flesh will worship God from Sabbath to Sabbath in the new earth (Isaiah 66:22–23). 8. 🔥 “Any day can be the Sabbath if you worship sincerely.” ❌ Not biblical. Revelation never defines the Lord’s Day as Sunday. True Christianity is not about forcing the will of God or the church on anyone. A true follower of Christ does everything He did, to the best of their ability, out of love for His sacrifice. He never forces Himself on others. That is why He says, I stand at the door and knock.

Early Christians did not have idols, images or icons in the Churches. Romans considered people who did not have visible gods as atheists since Romans had statues of Jupiter, Mars, Diana, Apollo etc all over the Roman Empire. Early Christians practiced Aniconism which rejected any physical depiction (statues or paintings) of the spiritual. While Romans had so many visible gods, Christians didn't even have crosses. So Romans considered Christians as atheists and they persecuted Christians for this reason. Under the Roman Empire not worshiping gods was seen as treason. ~ Athenagoras of Athens, A Plea for the Christians, Chapters 15–16 "But since many, who charge us with atheism, because they see that we have no images, nor altars, nor sacrifices, say that the gods are those of whom there are statues... if we are to think of the gods as only wood, and stone, and brass, and silver, and gold, then they have been made by human hands; and if they have been made by human hands, they cannot be gods." For this reason apologists like Justin Martyr tried to explain to Romans that Christians were not atheists in the 2nd century. When the Roman Catholic Religion developed over the centuries they started to create Statues of Jesus and depiction of Cross to escape the charge of atheism by pagan Romans. That’s exactly what Pope Leo is working toward right now. He’s positioning himself as all things to all people. Once the majority is charmed and won over, except for the Daniels of the day, the few remaining holdouts will be forced into compliance, by the hook or by the crook, as they say.
