The Bible shows us that God listens to the prayers of those who turn to Him with faith. Parents help lead their children closer to God, not by trying to control them, but by praying for them. Even when nothing seems to change, God is still at work in ways we cannot see. Prayer brings God's grace into our children's lives, and His grace is what can truly change a heart. So keep praying. "Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life" (Proverbs 22:4). Many people think being humble means thinking less of yourself, downplaying your abilities, or refusing to acknowledge your strengths. But biblical humility isn't self-hatred or insecurity. It's simply having an accurate view of yourself in relation to God. Humility recognizes both truths: God is infinitely greater than we are, and yet we are deeply valued because He created us in His image. A humble person doesn't deny their gifts; they acknowledge that those gifts came from God. The path of humility produces blessings that pride can never secure. Riches, honor, and life are God's rewards, not man's achievements. Let's cultivate humility and a genuine fear of the Lord—not because it's popular, rewarded, or applauded by our culture, but because God is worthy of our reverence. You cannot change people. You can love them. You can pray for them. You can tell them the truth. But only the Holy Spirit can change their heart. This truth takes a heavy burden off our shoulders. We are called to be faithful, not to force results. Our job is to show up with kindness, speak honestly, and lift others in prayer. The rest belongs to God. When we remember this, we find peace in our relationships and boldness to share the gospel without frustration. God is the one who transforms lives from the inside out. As Ezekiel 36:26 says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you." Keep loving, keep praying, and trust the Holy Spirit with the rest. He is always at work!
