@ush_sisk From what I have been told by reliable people, this is all around bad. Why deny kids the chance to play in front of an incredible atmosphere for an area title or earn gate fees for both schools. Not to mention, you play a great team just a few minutes away next week regardless.

Spencer Strider discussed his injury and internal-brace surgery. He had a highly unusual injury, not a UCL tear but a bone fragment in the UCL, a fragment that developed at some point since his 2019 Tommy John surgery. Had some discomfort at spring training but nothing severe.

Fully agree with Alec here. Letting teams pick and choose tiebreaker situations opens the door to manipulation and teams not getting a fair shake. Of course, expanding areas and implementing area tournaments would be a great solution here, but that soapbox is for another time.
Bad look for the sport here. The AHSAA needs to make a decision, either say play a game three or go to tiebreakers. Shouldn’t be able to choose based on the situation. Playing a game three makes the most sense.

@ChrisPatrick_35 @AlecEtheredgeSC Yes, that is correct. The same coach that chose to play in a tiebreaker game last year. I can only assume the rule book tiebreaker didn’t have HT getting in the playoffs last year.
