I’ve got to be honest, I’ve lost friends since October 7th and it does hurt. But what I can’t get past is the unrestrained nastiness I’ve experienced from people I thought were on my own side. Needly personal and vitriolic, and from people I actually know. Is this how they’ve treated everyone not in our social group the whole time? You can’t run a successful political movement via a police state. You particularly can’t do it in America. People are going to have heterodox opinions and they are going to want to express them.
I don’t support any genocide. This is exactly what I’m talking about. You leap to the wildest most stupid conclusions without any evidence and assume this posture of smug, moral superiority. And you don’t care who you hurt even if it’s with a lie. You’re no different than Gamergate.
@BriannaWu @trans_icon_mika Are we just ignoring that the international court said it could be classified as a genocide
@Sakai66666 @BriannaWu @trans_icon_mika Could be if the humanitarian situation continued to decline. Did not rule that it was, and ruled that the hostages should be returned, just like in the ceasefire resolution. And Hamas just rejected yet another ceasefire.
