Confusion As Nigeria’s EFCC Obtains Warrant To Arrest Ex-Kogi Gov Yahaya Bello As Another Court Bars Anti-Corruption Agency From Doing So | Sahara Reporters bit.ly/3U60c1R
@SaharaReporters EFCC is quick to arrest lightweight citizens but TELL STORIES WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICAL CRIMINALS WHO DID GREAT HARM TO NIGERIA AND BANKRUPTED THE NATION. Corruption is finally choking the last breath out of Nigeria 🇳🇬 x.com/adanniat/statu…
@SaharaReporters a country without laws or constitution or judiciary totally illegal entity 👇👇👇👇
@SaharaReporters Animal kingdom The police whose employers are same as the EFCC that went to effect this arrest stopped the EFCC who wanted to make the arrest. If we're not in an animal kingdom where can this happen?
Why do courts obstruct the course of justice by granting injunction that impedes judicial process of criminal proceedings? If he who alleges is prepared to prove their allegations, he that is accused must also be willing to clear their name. Court trial is an opportunity for justice to be done and seen to be done. It’s even more important when it involves anyone who is accused of theft of public fund, or property while in a position of trust. The granting of injunction to shield corrupt public officials from standing trial to account for their public service is tantamount to aiding and abetting crime by those entrusted with political power and leadership. A lot is wrong with the Nigerian system, across the 3 arms of government. Law makers are law breakers, the executive is recklessly vindictive and visionless, and the judiciary is transactional in protecting the rich, powerful and highly connected. Remember that in the USA, former President Trump is not using injunctions to stop his trial, but Nigeria is in a different planet.
