@SYRmotsag Plenty of teams didn't have issues with the new rules. Can we just be honest and say the O looked out of sync, surge up front was missing and the players, at times, didn't seem excited to be playing. It seemed like the O was on sedatives. Take the W and go fix the issues.
@SYRmotsag Why would they want to give us less football?
@SYRmotsag To be fair, Ohio State had more scoring drives and a more refined offense last year in comparison to this year
@SYRmotsag Doesn’t help that Indiana’s goal was to muck up the gang to keep it competitive. They wanted to run run run to keep clock moving and keep ball out of Ohio State’s hands.
@SYRmotsag The entire point of the rule was less football. We’re about to watch multiple teams regularly play 14-17 games a year.
@SYRmotsag Hasn’t been a problem for ND. Averaging about 49 points right now.
@SYRmotsag You are correct. For teams like OSU that is supposed to have a high powered offense it is more important than ever to score early to apply game/score pressure on opponents that want to limit possessions. Day can't be screwing around early this year. There is no time for it.
