📢 Michigan Bridge Card Holders: Important changes are coming! The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is issuing new Bridge Cards with enhanced security features, including chip and tap-to-pay technology to help reduce fraud and protect your benefits.
✅ Update your mailing address by August 7 to make sure you receive your new card. ✅ Once your new card arrives, activate it right away. Activating the new card will deactivate your current one. If you don't activate it, your existing card will be deactivated after 60 days.

Need free food? Visit SOS’s food pantry tomorrow from 1 to 6:30 pm or Weds., from 9am to 1pm. SOS’s pantry is located at 114 N. River St. in downtown Ypsilanti. This week we have cabbages, potatoes, spaghetti squash, apples, bok choy, asparagus, greens, sage, and onions.

If you need transportation to shelter or a warming center, SOS's Family Resource Center on River Street in Ypsilanti can help! You must have a fare deal card to access bus tokens at SOS. We can help you apply for a fare deal card from the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority.

Without Congressional action, communities will see rising homelessness, strained health systems, and disrupted services. People with disabilities and many others who rely on supportive housing to remain safely housed will face the greatest harm.
SOS is proud to join a large and growing coalition that includes disability rights and aging advocates along with leaders in public health, youth justice, anti-trafficking, and homelessness services who are calling on Congress to fully renew 2026 CoC grants.
