As Roger's summarising talk concludes, the delegates will be split into round-table groups to discuss the representations and recommendations proposed in the draft report These discussions will then be brought forward to the final leg of the event, the Keynote Panel #SMINConf4

"When comparing the stories of Grealish and Bellingham, the former has an insider feeling as we get to know him well, but the latter does not speak in his relatively fewer packages". #SMINConf4
"Only 2/9 packages about Tokyo hopefuls feature PoC speakers. The total duration of these features was only 45 seconds. "This was not reciprocated for their white counterparts who received considerably more airtime in order to give viewers a vested interest." #SMINConf4

"There was an increase in sports related discussion instead of the historic perceived need to talk about wider issues around women's sport". "However, a hesitancy to be critical about women's sport and a tendency to over-celebrate mediocrity was noted". #SMINConf4
"During the 2020 T20 World Cup 46% of articles that appeared in a news search were still about men's cricket, despite there being no tournament taking place. "However, articles about women's cricket platformed women's voices and [mostly] avoided gender marking." #SMINConf4
"Athletes placed huge emphasis on visbility being used to 'inspire women and girls'. "There is an expectation placed on women to increase visibility when the media aren't doing it themsevles." #SMINConf4
