Thanks for the training! I can officially say I’m beyond happy with @SIPGrinders1902! I’ve had them in the past but had no proper training which was discouraging and left me feeling uncomfortable. Now that I’ve been trained and saw the capabilities I would highly recommend them!

🚨We found an SIP grinder from the 1920’s & it’s coming home! It’s been sitting in a garage in Pittsburgh for 62yrs. @968Trent found it & @jaydotseedot helped me load it. This “Ideal” model was still based on the 1908 patent from @SIPGrinders1902’s founder, Percy Root.

A customer in NY just bought an Ideal 50 bedknife grinder from the 1970’s. WE STILL SUPPLY PARTS FOR IT & have the instruction & parts manuals on the @SIPGrinders1902 website! That machine was designed in the 40’s & its predecessor was made until the early 2000’s. #TheStandard

It’s April 1994. @MarkPilgerSIP just sold the first surface plate reel grinder ever made to Cypress Links (now Dye Preserve) in Jupiter, FL. PGA Nat’l EM Bryan Radtke gave me the serial plate during @thehondaclassic this yr. She’s STILL running at Gates Four in NC! @bluflash88

@sanmoy87 @egrosvenor1 Yeah, to hold the entire frame down & eliminate any play in the rollers, frame, etc. If you have a harmonic when grinding, adjust the reel speed, & the harmonic doesn’t go away? 99.9% chance - on our grinder - that you have a bad reel bearing(s).
