@jab_yt Now…Anthony’s performances are usually very good, and people do all sorts of things during mental breakdowns, but I feel like Homelander’s is…off. Like they couldn’t decide a tone so they went with the most desperate, catharsis, tone switching possible.

@jab_yt This leads me to believe the show writers just aren’t good at writing off characters. And it wouldn’t have been so hard if we weren’t chasing sidequests the whole time. Though, it does explain why Butcher, Ryan, and Kimiko felt so strong. They were overleveled.

@jab_yt And the scaling too. How the hell do Soldier Boy and Butcher have a harder time against Normal Homelander but Homelander with the “fabled” V1 gets ganged up on in the Oval Office. They box Soldier Boy. The kill off Oh Father in an almost comical manner.
