@sabrbioproject @lajoie338 @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka Very good hitter as well.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka RIP. In addition to being an outstanding pitcher, Peters also was maybe the best hitting pitcher during his era. I remember one game when he batted sixth in the lineup.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka Gary was the talk of the American League that summer. Great time to be a baseball fan.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka Great picture and pitcher.
@sabrbioproject @OTBaseballPhoto @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka Great underrated pitcher for the White Sox in the 60s. The most effortless, easy throwing motion I have ever seen. At one point in the 60s, the White Sox pitching staff had Peters, Tommy John, Joel Horlen, Ray Herbert, Juan Pizzaro, and future NBA star Dave DeBusschere.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka 🙏
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka Classic southpaw style in a beautiful uniform.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka For a moment in time, re when I was a kid in the Chicago area, this was one brilliant pitcher along with his buddy Horlen. RIP
@sabrbioproject @sabr @whitesox @PhilHecken @ckamka He was the real deal.
@sabrbioproject @whitesox @sabr @PhilHecken @ckamka I think he was 5-5 his rookie year before winning 14 straight. He was impressive.
